The black SH-6B Duncan Distortion from Seymour Duncan is the original high-output ceramic humbucker, well suited for aggressive rock and metal players. The pickup incorporates a massive ceramic magnet and hot coil windings to deliver well-balanced rock and metal tones with rich upper midrange harmonic content. Great for crunchy rhythms and searing lead tones, the SH-6B delivers tight, percussive riffs and searing lead tones that are fast and immediate with clear pick dynamics. The Duncan Distortion also features a nickel-silver bottom plate, 4-conductor lead wire for multiple wiring options, and is vacuum wax potted for squeal-free performance. The SH-6B pairs nicely with the Jazz Model neck pickup for a versatile humbucker combination, or pair it with the Duncan Distortion neck model for a killer high-output setup.
